Because they never shifted the Capital, everybody wanted to own a piece of land in Kathamndu and build a small ghaderi. And we nepalese had to pay way high costs for this simple reason. Poeple became corrupt in Nepal... and ha ha Kathamndu became like a GU City, crowded, polluted and degraded. ha ha.. So it's time to shift the Capital to Dharan. People became so corrupted, all the development budget went into the pockets of the people in Nepal just to buy a piece of land in kathamndu. That's the price the country paid becuase they kept Kathamndu always Capital.
