I agree, but again find out why they were denied, on what basis, punish the deprivers and; scrap all those that was given by default to Indian citizens, who bribed their way. If dual citizenship is to be considered, what is the cutoff deadline, and what about all those Indians of Nepalese origins. I guess govt immediately issue citizenship to genuine citizens immediately, but what makes you say it is 6 million in round figures. Now, also say, if compassion for community is a factor, don't forget the Bhutanese, and Indian refuges of Nepalese ancestory. (2) Federal Republic. Sounds nice, but not on ethnic and communal line, and with balanced power and responsibility. (3) Recognize Hindi on par with Nepali. It is the link language in the Terai. No, Nepali as lingua franca and official with English, and other languages used in majority federal states, and promoted to enhanced preservation. (4) Reservations for the DaMaJaMa in the parliament, starting with the Assembly.
