Estes Park Police Cmdr. Wes Kufeld said... "... Budhathoki would face no criminal charges. 'People are allowed to disappear anytime they want,' he said. 'She just happened to have a lot of friends who really worried about her.' That's what friends are for - known or unknown. I am proud to be a Nepali today because WE, collectively, worried and prayed for a fellow Nepalese's safety. What drove her to do what she did is a secondary matter. What we wished and prayed for came true. And that's what we should all be thankful for and be aware that our fellow Nepalese will do anything they can when one of us is hurting, so to speak. So, let's rejoice the goodness in Nepali people as we often bad mouth our own.
