Nepali Girl missing in Estes Park

NEWS UPDATE: Pratishtha Found alive, on good shape and intact. Great News !!! ESTES PARK - Police have found the Nepalese student who had been missing for more than two weeks. Police found Pratistha Budhathoki alive and well in Estes Park Monday afternoon near Mary's Lake Lodge. On Monday afternoon Budhathoki went to a local woman's home and asked to use the phone. The woman recognized Budhathoki and notified police. Police then found Budhathoki in a nearby field. They are keeping her on a mental health hold. Budhathoki's parents arrived from Nepal today and are en route to the police department. Official say that she was staying on Prospect Mountain, eating very little and drinking water from Mary's Lake. The search for Budhathoki had been called off Sunday because Estes Park Police said they found no new evidence that could lead them to Budhathoki. Budhathoki's Subway uniform was found near a gift store Thursday where she was last seen. Authorities intensified their search after finding the uniform and learning of cell phone usage and credit card purchases made after she had disappeared. Budhathoki had come to Estes Park from St. Cloud University in Minnesota for summer work. Estes Park Police Officer Russ Kufeld said, "We're just glad that she's safe and sound and back in safe hands now."
