i am guessing germany due to the fact that they are playing on their soil. italy is definitely a good team but their lacklustre performance againts usa and win over ukraine somehow don't say enough about their skills. portugal - good goalie but not enough strikers. will they be able to take on france who defeated brazil? on the other hand, france did not perform very well in the group stage. that leaves only germany who has had the best record so far. its soccer and anything can happen. i am just hoping the rest of the matches don't end up in penalty shootouts and there will be some thrills like there were in the france-brazil match today.
