Dibya Khaling sir was a wonderful person. I had the honor to know him personally during my years at Gyanodaya. I remember being never picked for any of his singing teams, and for a good reason! He was a light hearted person and very well liked by everyone. I remember him passionately playing the harmonium and giving us the “sa re ga ma” lessons. That is when I learned the art of lip singing! May his soul rest in peace and may he be remembered not just for the songs he sang but for being a wonderful person that he was.
