Prachanda's future?? Or lack of it...

I don't see any real risk to Prachanda from his own party (theoritically, there is always, though). Instead, he is and will be always a target of CIA, et al. Most people in Maoists don't understand what communism meant for them. They joined Maoists because it enticed them with some promises: empowering women, indigenous groups, Madhises, poor people etc. This is what most Nepalis want as well. People would also be with NC or UML if they were to come up with such promises. The bottom line is the all their problems should be resolved. So, a comminist party should not necessarily act like what Mao or Lanin did. They can entirely forget about communism (this is what most people like to see in Nepal) and work for poor/landless, indigenous people. If Prachanda does that, even changes his party name to some democratic parliamentarian party, people and even those maoist cardes too will accept it.
