I agree with Dreamer. The number of army who get chance to serve in UN missions is very few, I hope someone knows the detail about the exact figures.. They are helping to fund Nepal with foreign currencies, so they shouldn`t be touch. Serving in UN missions, apart from the salary the army men get, Nepal as a country get a good amount as well.. (I read somewhere, please correct me if i am wrong) Until now, it used to go to the jernels and kernels.. but now we have to make it more transparent. And instead of downsizing the Nepal Army, we need to make them more productive. Productive interms of building Nepal. Nepal is suffering a lot because of lack of roads and infrastructures. Nepal is full of mountains and hills.. well, we can use the huge source of human resource in developing the infrastructure. And the huge number of army men used in these tasks dont need guns and rifles... We should stop buying further arms and ammunitions ...
