This world cup is of Italy. As we all know brazil, argentinal doesnot play well in european world cups so my bet is on italy. there is an uncanny resemblance of the world cup in 1982 world cup when italy won. That time the star of italian team paolo rossi was alleged of match fixing but once world cup started he played extremely well and won the world cup. Even this time around the star players from juventus are alleged of match fixing. Does thag augurs something? as an italian fan i think so. I was impressed by italian performance yesterday. They were solid in their defence as always and i think in loca toni and geraldino they have very good strikers too. Italy has long suffered a series of bad lucks since 1990 world cup by loosing in penalty quite often and lots of decision going against them. It has to end somewhere. and i think this world cup is the pay back time.
