"you dont seem to be from around the area- where are you from" kind of thing. They always try to guess though....Most of my americans frens tease me when i say TOMATO or GOD (basically whenever certain words are pronounced distinctly difference than how they say it), and i say "in nepal, we say u guys have this dirty drooling american slang, where you cannot pronounce things distinctly, and your tongue just rolls n rolls n rolls" (i know its mean of me, but sometimes, there's no other way to get your point across that people who are different from them do exists, and that world is much bigger than AMERICA). Maybe I am lucky enough to have friends who value diversity....anyways...kei pani gunaso chaina rey? hmmm..must be my lucky day huh..haha have a good one :)
