HOW DO YOU FANTASIZE ALL THAT, guys? The Newari peace march was in SUPPORT of the government declaration of secular state. Yes, Newars are a great people but not for what you guys said! Listen to the BBC Nepali or read the news in any number of online sources. On a related note, are you guys so weak religiously that you want a state mechanism to protect your religion? Religion should be a question of personal choice; the state cannot and must not impose a religion. Nor does a state have a religion. If you are real Hindus, you should have the confidence to reform the religion and promote it as a person and soceity but not expect the government to do for you while you corrupt yourself. What did the gov do good to it in the last 41 years when the state was a Hindu one? Hindus should take it as an opportunity to reform and promote Hinduism. Good Hindus are already doing it. But the fundamentalist elements like Bharat Keshari Singh and other Mandales who always used religion as a means to collect wealth, power, or status illegally and unethically are the ones who are making a hue and cry out of it now. Beware that people are not so stupid as you think they are.
