Foreign language in parliament Kathmandu , 30 May: When Sadhbhawana (Ananddevi) party’s Hridayesh Tripathi addressed the parliament in Hindi language on 16 May in the parliamentary session, people have expressed dissatisfaction on him, writes Dibya Chakshu weekly. Tripathi has challenged the constitution of 1990 as well as the parliamentary announcement of 2006 by using a foreign lingo while addressing the parliament, even the Speaker of the parliament Subash Nembang did not bother to stop Tripathi speaking from foreign language. Instead of using one’s mother tongue, if one is allowed to use a foreign language at a place like parliament, which represents the nation as a whole then why do not the speaker of the parliament rule the house in his native language?
