Nepal in semi-final of ACC Trophy KOL Report KATHMANDU, July 17 - Nepal has entered the semi-final of ACC Trophy in Singapore after beating Kuwait by 124 runs. Nepal went into the match needing an outright win for qualification. Nepal elected to bat after winning the toss and made 288 for 6 in the 50 overs. Dipendra Chaudhary remained unbeaten on 80 while Mehboob Alam contributed significantly to the Nepalese innings with 60. Chansing the huge target set by Nepal, Kuwait was dismissed for 164 in the 36th over. Sanjam Regmi was Nepal's best bowler in the match taking 3 wickets for 38 runs. Nepal will now take on Malaysia in the second semi-final. The other two teams in the semi-final are the UAE and Hong Kong. (rk)
