I dont think that advocating for Nepal to be a Hindu state is being "a fundamentalist" nor asking for a cow not be killed! It is easy to point to our social issues and blame it on religion. It is easy to say that we are poor because of our religion, I have heard that zillions of times. It is hard to acknowledge that we are one of the poorest nations with richest culture; it is even harder to understand and appreciate the culture of the poorest nation that we are part of!
