Even if it wasn't imposed on them, the fact remains that these women who commit Sati are all Hindus. That's because it was once a very integral part of our tradition and from what I read today, it still is (though not that important)... I don't mistake tradition for religion, so I stick by the belief that a religion should not be blasphemed on the basis of its few bad followers.... It's the people; those *Hindus* that commited or still commit such sins, so fingers should be pointed at them and not at the entire religion..
