Sometimes I wonder if Political parties (specifically NC, and UML) are trying to set the stage for the general election hiding behind these changes . They want to take the credits before CA does. They keep saying SPA --SPA--what the heck? Forget about SPA talk about people. SPA was doing "movement" for years. Nothing happened. They are back in the Singhdurbar not because of them but because of the people, who may or may not care for SPA. What happens if someone goes to the Supreme Court challanging all the meaures this parliament invoked? How is SC guided? Can the SC be fair? and how? My question is what is, if any, the relevance of SC on constitutional issues? Asti samma King le sambidhan ma turkan diyo aba yata SPA le suru gare. If people are demanding Republic, Nepal will be republic. No one can stop that. Monarchy will face unbelievable defeat if the polls are held today. We want CA now not two years later. Let the CA make the constitution. This ad-hoc parliament should not panic and start issuing hukums after hukums. If they really want to declare something, declare Nepal the republic now. If they can't do it, then stop talking about supremacy and crap like that. I have no faith on these expired MPs. I want CA, which should draw a new Constitution. Then, the parliament should issuing laws within the Consitution. Even in the US, several laws were passed, and signed by the president only to be ruled void by the Supreme Court. The parliament should be the parliament not hukumi headquarters. That's all. Of course, I respect all who differ with me.
