Let me begin with this statement: I do not want the King ruling Nepal. In fact, I don't even want a ceremonial King. So I am not worried about King's power being curtailed. I am not talking about the changes but the process. I do not consider this parliament a valid one. This is just an ad hoc parliament for some specific jobs such as make way for CA. A new Constitution should be written with peoples' mandate. If this ad-hoc parliament want to make an interm constitution then it should include everybody in the processs including Maoists. The longer this ad-hoc parliament lingers, the greater the political instability it draws. If they are that supreme and declare whatever they want, why the heck didn't they declare "Nepal from today is a republic"? No more to worry about the king. This would have made Maobadis happy too.
