Pundit raj, this is how you felt. it reflects that you have difficulty in making a good number of friends forever. i am a Bahun, but I never had any problem with any Newars or any other castes. they are all friendly to me, so cooperative. the fact is that if you stay in a community, you must have your own norms and you abide by them. Newars in Nepal is a big community. they have their own language, culture and many other things which made them proud of being a Newar. i think you should be positive towards them and stop using such racial words.
