There are exceptions. I donot want to directly go ahead and ask her to say, "Hey! what do you think? yes or no". She might say "yes", but I think I might have blown my chances by not seeing the gray area. But then again, it depends on how important you think the person is. This one is such dear and perfect to me that I cannot take such chances and that is in my books being a little rude too. Unless you have spend enough time together, which I haven't, and in which case is a whole different thing. But Mansion, you are accurate in pointing out that I might have been staying back and trying to be lucky. I absolutely know that its not going to work and I have to utter the word. I want to keep it simple, very simple. I donot like complexity. But making it simple doesn't necessarily mean you see only black and white, or in other words yes or no. Yes it is yes and always yes.
