How ironic is it that ALL charges for the Maoist leaders were dropped and consequently they were released and we see, these people being detained/arrested. Fine! So be it. Whoever's ass is on fire "for the time being" deserves it, more in general than what happened in past one year or so. (Akhir sabai yeuta dyang ko mula na ho, yeta uti ani niski halcha) But can a government dismiss/not take in to account ALL charges filed by the families against the murderers? Doesn’t it has to go thru due procedure, especially if the culprit themselves are thumping their chest and their partners-in-crime are accepting the crime. Say-like APF IG Krishna Mohan, his wife Nupur and his bodyguard were assassinated. Bomb blast that caused more than 30 civilian death and gazillion of other heinous crimes – I would imagine there should be individual FIR against them. Then can government, a democratic one at that, throw all that out of the window and effectively give them clean chit? Either we start seeing everyone with the same lens and act accordingly, or make selective political and strictly political decision; of course as a vendetta. First one, not many can disagree; second however would create new vicious circle. If anyone thinks the buck has stopped moving, think again! Calm water holds intriguing mysteries. They should utilize their energy to go for CA ASAP, instead of just acting like a kid. And we wonder why any project our government starts never gets finished. I wonder how long would those who are in power would remain where they are. And it would only get more fatal next time around. Hamro durbhagya. And apart from going to CA ASAP, another equally, or even more important factor is, the practical roadmap for economic reform. How come I have never heard of anything remote in that line? On the lighter note, it's been a long time since I watched any movies or switched on my idiot's box - I just go thru the news and views about my country and I get, action, drama, emotions, victory, defeat, deceit, thrill, misery, fear, mystery, vengeance, and everything and anything I would have otherwise seen in the fictional accounts. And it appears we have not come to an end. This is a mere - like my high school soccer coach Anshuman would say - lemon break. The show must go on. And it appears the only currency for the tickets would be more blood and destruction. But who is listening. Let's play tit for tat - tit for tat. I like the first part.
