Nawalparasi, 8 May: Groups in several villages united to fight Maoists in the southern part of the districts surrendered their weapons to the local administration Saturday, Nepal Samacharpatra reports. Group chief Munna Khan said they surrendered all weapons to police extending support to the present popular government. One week ago, a dozen locals from Bhujhawa gave up their weapons to Maoists through their families and surrendered themselves to Maoists.
