Laba is a patent lawyer working in the Metro DC area. He has a MS/PhD from Northwestern Univ. in Chemistry and JD from GWU plus a couple of years of research experience at Yale as a post-doctorate associate. He has an undergraduate degree from Davidson College. His had his earlier schooling from St. Xavaier's Godavari and Budhanilkantha School, batch of 1985.
