There is a huge difference between "leg pulling" and creative critical thinking. Seeing Ph.D.s or grad. education is only for visa extension is -ve thinking. I do agree that some people might do that. But you can't generalize the whole population. So, are you getting this undergrad only because you can't get job without the degree? If given a chance to have work-permit, are you saying that you'll drop out from school? I won't wonder if 2nd generation nepalese in US come out to be crap as the first generation've already started to show the symptoms.
