Are you suggesting that Asians are not good at marketing themselves because of how their genes are encoded(nature), or are you saying that it's due to the fact that they come from a different cultural background(nurture)? If you mean the latter( which I think is the case), then what I'm gonna say is that I was talking about Asian Americans. People who are educated here should have no problems understanding how America works. Also, you gave an example of asians from India with whom you had some problems. So looks to me like your example pertains more to asians from asia and not Asians, born, raised or educated here--or Asian Americans. Asians are the most assimilated groups in America. The word they like to throw around is "model minorities" P.S. H1B visa holders are totally incompetent. I totally agree with that.
