This is not in an attempt to defend but just to inform what I know regarding this question. Any reason for Gyanendra to stay in Pokhara? Gyanendra was the Chairman of King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation. He used to have a frequent visit to Pokhara and other projects under KMTNC. At that time also as usual he had various programmes in different projects including NCRTC(Shauraha), ACAP(Pokhara) and MCAP (Gorkha). Soon after finishing his program he went to Pokhara and he had a plan to be in Pokhara until June 5, for World Environmental Day. After that he had programmes in Upper Gorkha ( to inagguarate the Micro Hydro Plants). But besides that it is beyond my knowledge if he had some other plans. However its definite I was not involved in that massacre hahhahhhaaaaaaa.
