Nepal is 'hindu country' by name but in practice it is secular country. As hindu-bhddhist form more than 93% of population I dont think it is bad to call nepal 'hindu' country. For non-hindu nepalis probably being secular in practice is enough. So far religion has not been important issue in nepal except one or two events.
