but u have no proper education that might allow you to do something else, plus there is the lureness of being dressed in combat etc etc......so even if they are not brainwashed, they have to follow orders that comes from 'above'. i do think it ultimatley boils down to making enough money to send back to your family, to pay rent, to educate your chidlren..nabhaye hy would anyone want to lead a life like that? may be they are patriotic and may be they love the country....but even for this police and army soliders, their family, their chidlren, and personal life comes first, just like us.
