I am expecting an offer from a non-profit firm for work. The agreement was that I will pay for the legal fees and whatever other fees neccesary myself to get H1b and that the organization will provide neccesary paperwork. I've been told as there is no quota for h1b for non-profit the process is fairly simple. Can anyone who did their H1b themselves (whether nonprofit or not) tell me what the process was like... associated costs... used lawyer or not etc. More details the better. Thanks!
