These Tancredos and sensenbrenners are trying to use the fear that american people have about terrorism in immigration issue. Had there been no 9/11 , american people centiments would definately have been as positive towards these illegal immigrants as it was in late eighties when they granted amnesty to illegals. When you talk about small cuba, samll mexico , that shows the greatness of american people not their weekness. This is democracy where an illegal immigrant has no fear waving other countries flag in the street. By the way, wise americans know that america is now competing with cheap labor markets like india and china, so illegal workers are the easiest choices. dont judge the illegal immigration issue based on a small fraction of those hanging around in big cities ,think about those who are working in FARMLAND , Poultry industry, construction and so on.
