Gautam B., Thank you seems that only few people agree with it. Timetraveller, I try best not to let my stories deliver any message, I leave that to the leaders. But since you have kindled the issue, I want to put forth my few pennies. 1. America still thrives on the happy days where men work at Ford's plants and brought home goodies while women knitted clothes. Dinner was always on the table and jesus on the wall. Century later, americans think Henry Ford is still saving them from all miseries. 2. Americans are still happy, leaving aside metropotitan cities, most of the families have a working father who works either on farm or is a mason or a plumber. One of the children has a criminal record, the other works in McDonalds, mother drinks beer throughout the day, yet they afford a corvette. This is a new american dream. 3. The more upsetting issue, none of these working families believe in higher education as long as there is a food on the table and abercrombie and fitch in the closet. And since they do not realize what they were missing, they are proned to substance abuse. I was quite impressed by the Jimmy Carter's bestseller - Our endangered values, in writing this story. Dannyboy, whitman's poetry is a marvel and thanks for complying with me. ladainian, I was equally intrigued by your alias as you were with my story. It is a depiction of loose morales of americans ( need to watch my words, I am not stereotyping a hundred percent). Drug abuse has been more threatening than any middleeast war over decades, yet they find it hard to believe it is more devastating. American simply do not believe in judging thyself before you judge others.
