if it makes you happy believing in what you believe in then more power to you bro. i only believe in things that are based on logic and science. for this reason i haven't been able to appreciate any religion from a religious standpoint however i can see the relevance of vedic teachings from a philosophical point of view. I do not consider myself atheist but i do not care if there is god who created us or it was just a mere coincidence of certain phenomenon or we could be just an experimentation of some super intelligent alien species out there. who knows. I am fine with any possibilities. because it's not going to change my life my moral values and my character. if somebody were able to prove that there is no god (which is highly unlikely just like one cannot prove there is) do you think we will all start killing and looting each other. i do not think so. there is an intrinsic badness and goodness in all of us which keep changing in their ratio through out our life. this is define as the GUNAS in the vedic scriptures. you don't do things because you believe in god or not it comes from within ans we all know humans are capable of great compassion and atrocities at the same time. ~Birbhadra
