when i am angry i indulge myself into food, or i clean house. but when my son is mad, he breaks anything that comes in his hand, (dangerous kid), so i have decided to keep everything out of site and out of mind. last weekend i went and bought him two punching bags and told him that when ever he gets angry he has to go get his anger out in the punching bags not on my pride and possessions. next day, he woke up with a bad dream, man, no one was allowed to talk to him, i then said to my darling son, son, remember the punching bags that i got for you well, go and get that anger out, and he did just that, when he got back to the living room, he had this big grin on his face, came and gave me a huge hug and said "mum that is the best christmas present that you have ever given".
