Darshan! :P Anyway, Jadau, Namaste, Taremam, Darshan..all seem so Rana-like and alien to me. Tara dil kholera gare je greetings ni ramro huncha- mukh bangyayera garu ki nagaru sochdai garne namaste, ra thula bada le garib guruba lai jani jani hepera 'Namaste..." bhaneko chahi patakkai man pardaina. "Though in my experience, I have noticed that the female peers seem to get insulted with this gesture". Tyo Vijay Kumar le kheeli udai udai tapai tapai bhandai liyeko Jharana Bajracharya ko interview jastai jastai bhan bhayo malai ta :P Jharana ji, tapai..pani bhanne ani usko jabaf ko betal le khilli pani udaune. Niccha hasdai bhudi lageka adhbaise hakim haru le "Namaste! Ke sewa garau bhannos" bhaneko sune bhane mero kansiri ko rau tatcha. A lot of times this namaste is a 'look down' on people/women- can't even express their greetings with warmth. I'm sure a lot of people/women in Nepal get this, namaste filled with sarcasm- I don't see a reason why we should enjoy it.
