America's inner cities might be bad in comparison to some places in America, but it is better than any places in an underdeveloped country by LEAPS AND BOUNDS. As to Katrina, remember the aftermath of the Tsunami in places like Indonesia and Thailand? Hundreds of thousands of people died. Katrina killed only a thousand. A big number, but compared to earthquakes in India or Iran, Tsunami in China, etc, the American government did a PRETTY GOOD JOB! America is a country founded by immigrants. While it's past is full of bloodshed, that episode belongs in the ash heap of history. America is a history of diversity. It is not a melting pot, but a salad bowl. People don't mix, but people are doing pretty good in America. Why do immigrants come to America in droves if there is nothing attractive about America?
