Please clarify some of my confusion regarding racism in Nepal. -Is or was there a law/provision that one or other caste would not get an oppotunity to read/write? -Is/was there a segregation in school/work place/public places supported by law? -Is/ was there an affirmative action policy in school and jobs? -As in USA or other European colonies,people were segregated by the color of their skin,how can you differentiate between different caste/race in Nepal? -Can't people just change their name and assume another caste?
