Since we don't have domestic technology, that's why electricity is expensive. Once we have domestic technology it will be cheaper. You can see the difference, those multimillion dollor projects in foreign investment generate way expensive electricity compare to domestic hydropower companise. I am glad that world bank is not investing. It had invested on Brazil and jeoparadise her economy by sinking her into debt. First lets be self dependent in energy. 2,000 Mega Watts can make us self dependent which is about 2% of our total capacity. Over 50% of our total capacity is economically fesible even in present condition. The beauty of Hydropower is, once you built it you need not to do anyting for long time and it is environmentally safe. I just want to see its start. I know there are many private companies heading towards this direction. Three of my soulmates are in a process to own their own Hydro power company. I hope NRN will invest in this direction and will attck on thousand Mega Watts projects. I am dreaming to see Nepal with Hydropower economy followed by Hydrogen economy. Tourism is immidiate option but Hydropower is ultimate option. If you don't utilize your energy resource you have to import energy. The money you have earned will go outside and you will never be rich. The only way to be rich is to best utilize the gift of mother Nature, our property, hydropower. Nothing can be compared to the Hydropower of Nepal. I always look for future, and its only Hydropower which will come to rescue us. Sorry, Birbhadra Ji, I have never tested Beer in my life. I don't think I will ever test it in this life :). Of course, it will certainly give me pleasure while looking down from the mountain top. More than that I will be pleased when foreigners go to the hill top, spent $ and take the pleasure. My happiness will cross the boundary when by that $ every single Nepali brother and sister of mine could get food, shelter, cloth, medicine and education. This is the only happiness I want.
