Bindesh, I must say that you are the first person who has had nice things to say about the book. I read his first (?) novel and must say that it left much to be desired. True, his imagery of little streets and alleys of Kathmandu certainly did help take me down memory lane, but his characters were not developed enough to leave a lasting impression. I don't mean to belittle his efforts at being a writer-and as the only Nepali writer to have reached the world stage, he certainly deserves Kudos and attention but, I hope that his future attempts at writing will have better developed characters.
