Some days ago I happened to receive a junk e-mail, probably was a best junk I have ever received ! :D I think it is relevant here too. It says that we poor from developing countries (including Nepal) do not follow the basic functional principles of Life i.e. majority of us do not have attitude favourable for development and democracy. So that democracy has been a misnomer! These basic functional principles included are: 1. Ethics, (as a basic principle). 2. Integrity 3. Use of power and responsibility 4. Respect to the laws & rules 5. Respect to the rights of other citizens 6. Work loving, accountability 7. Strive for saving & investment 8. Will of super action 9. Punctuality (Food for thought !) Until and unless "WE" citizens are aware of these points, nothing is going to improve wheather there is full democracy or an anarchy. ...हरि शरणम् !...
