Nwaram ko naam is just a name. Okay here is the detail about style of horoscpe. The western style horoscope is accordingly to the position of the sun in any of the 12 constellations, which we know as horoscope. This is accurate by the dates given +- 24 hours, which is why when you are born on 20th - 24th (depending on sign), you are not exactly the sign you are. you may be another next to it. For example, if you are born on june 22nd, you are regarded as cancer but you also have gemini properties, or sometimes more gemini than cancer depending on the time and place of birth. This is because the sun has just moved from gemini to cancer. The reason why it is repetitive by fixed date, is because the western calendar is a solar calendar. it is determined by the sun's position the sky. In simple terms :-> The eastern style horoscope is accordingly to the position of the moon in any of the 27 constellations (nashatra). So, if the moon is in a nashatra which is 30 degrees from a known constellation (in this example, cancer), which depends on when and where u are born, then you are a cancer and so forth. This changes every month, week and sometimes even time of the day. It is even different from where you are located at. So, even if there are two people born at exact the same time, but at different location, then you'll have a different name, or rashi. It doesn't follow the accurate periodic path as the sun does. Do not confuse this with Bikram Sambat. Bikram Sambat is also a lunar calendar set to work with the solar cycle. The lunar Calendar is one which we know as "Tithis". Every 30 years, a 'adika-masa' or a 30-day leap month is added to make up for the losses to keep up with the earth's orbit around the sun, just as 1 day is added every 4-years in solar calendar. Some times, days are added or subtracted from lunar month to fix the position of the moon with its phase. All Nepalese and eastern numerology charts ('cheena') are based on astology that uses the lunar calendar. A birth name (nwaran ko naam) is given to ease to figure out your sign. For instance if you were born on the date and time the moon was is a constellation that is 30 degrees from cancer, your nwaram ko naam starts with (hi,hu,he,ho,da,di,du,do). So, if your nwaran ko name is Hunchha Bahadur or Hem Kala, you are karkat rashi.
