Seems like DMV is not allowing non permanent resident to carry regular Driving Licence shortly. I don't know whether its true or not. As far as i know Tenessee changed the Driving Licence last year for non permanent residents. They issue a Certificate for Driving, one can just drive and not valid for any ID purpose. Seems like it is the pilot project and will be implemented all over US shortly. But i think it takes lot of time. I suggest every one who has not yet gotton Driving Liicence to get it soonest.
