It's always dangerous to make a U-turn no matter if it's a 17 year old driver or 45 year old adult. I guess it was a 2 lane highway. I guess the highway must have been slippery due to frozen sleet of snow in Minnesota highways which probably made it hard for the other car to come to a stop before it hit the car with these students. I dont know much about Texas crash, how and why it happened.
