I know how hard it is to organize such events. I had the opportunity to participate in Lhochhar '03 and believe me it did have it's share of problems, but the satisfaction of entertaining my fellow country men was great. People who have participated in any sort of event know this feeling. So you were not informed that you act got cancelled? Aren't you partly responsible to find out what's going on yourself. I have faced a similar situation, it happened to my friend when we were in college. We had to cancel his song which we had not perfected even though we had practiced till the wee hours before the show. He was disappointed and furious that we did not inform him. But when we explained to him, he understood. I am not a professional artist, and there will always be flaws and disappointment. Try to think from the organizer's prespective, they do not want to showcase an act that is not well rehearsed. Would you be willing to sing knowing that there will be some imperfections and disappoint your firends and the audience? I guess not. I hppe you understand what I am trying to point out, and by now you have eased the pain caused by this issues. I wish you good luck for the next time you get a chance to perform, and may be I will get a chance to see your act. FYI ppl! Boston Tamu Samaaj & GBNC are two different entities.....
