I am disappointed with this signing. I agree Johnny Damon is an All Star Center fielder and a true Leadoff Hitter that Yankees lack. It's hard to swallow for a big Bernie fan…. Johnny doesn't have better arm than Bernie. I would like to see Bernie getting one more opportunity…. Hope Bernie is still with the team, he can serve as a DH.... This is the same franchise that let go Babe Ruth, Fisk, Wade, Clemens, Pedro….. Red Sox would be lucky to finish 2nd place in AL East next season.
