I know, we Nepalese are still in infancy when it comes to the matter of "giving". We doubt so much of the misusage or even SAn making money out of this. What if SAn would have done business to provide us with this kind of enter active website. I commend Ashu's posting for the request of giving to Sajha and thought to be genuine so that our beloved Sajha can go on. It is not pestering at all. I would reather advocate for pestering also if needed. Public radio stations like NPR in US also need money and they have fund raising programs many times a year asking for you to give and give. Do they do those kind of things just because they wanted to do? No. Every body needs money to run programs or websites. Its totally voluntary and San will not block you if you do not give. I think its also OK not to give but it will be bettr if you give. I wish if we can make this Sajha as a PUBLICLY SUPPORTED WEBSITE sans all the advertisements. But I see remote possibility as people make more noise than giving. How many Nepalese, rich and poor, donate regulary? There might be some hinderances too, like some willing contributors, may not have credit cards or other practical problems etc. I felt the other discussions irrelevent and unnecessary. Long live Sajha and like Ashu said, lets give generously.
