ok, i agree i was almost being facetious when i asked whether it was time for the guillotine. but i still think it is a valid question. and i do not think the French were really all that educated when the revolution occured. if anything, they killed off most of the intellectuals. and i do agree that education is important. but freedom is more important. education is a tool, but freedom is the environment in which the tool can/will work. anyways, i asked whether it was time for the guillotine because people are pissed off at all three "power centers". sounds a lot like a fractioned, factioned elite trying to impose/lord over the masses...
