Buddhahood is a middle-way.The path that balances between self-mortification and self-indulgence.The avoidance of extremes.Bomjan is practising self-mortification so he cannot yet be labeled as Buddha. Self-serving dogmatic principle seems to be functioning well in Bomjan's case.Remember,how the world blindly accepted the news of Ganesh drinking milk few years back. Most of the hindus like myself who have became victimized by our urge for instant gratification that is followed by the worship is contradictory to basic Buddhist beliefs.The deification of Bomjan is simply wrong.His hermitness seeking knowledge might be praiseworthy but worship derails the enlightenment if thats what the boy is looking forward to.
