Nepal lifts ACC U-19 Cricket Cup Nepal won the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup Cricket tournament thrashing Malaysia by 7 wickets in the final match played at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur Saturday. Winning the toss, Nepal opted to field first, sending all Malaysian batsmen packing in 25.5 overs. Displaying an excellent craft and confidence, Nepali bowlers managed to restrict Malaysia in just 83 runs. Nepal, in turn, chased the paltry target in 25.3 overs losing three wickets. Bantu Bataju made a crucial contribution of seven wickets, leading Nepal to victory. 15 teams had participated in the international cricket tournament that kicked off on 8th November.
