Mero_Nepal, You can find unlocked Quad-band phones in ebay or any wholesale stores. Basically, you can unlock the phone in 2 ways: First, you can buy a software online from ebay for $9.99 and they will provide you the unlock codes and the process of how to unlock your phones manually. Second,you can go to any wholesale phone store in your city and they can unlock that for you and i am pretty sure it shud not be more than $5. Jyapoo, I had the blackberry phone from Nextel like 8 months back and when i took that phone to Nepal it did not work at all. I just wasted my money buying the sim card and service in Nepal. But i heard that the new Nextel Blackberry phones are compatible and can be used in many countries ( I am not sure-may be a rumor) lemme know the model number of the blackberry you are talking about and i can find it out whether it is gonna work in nepal or not.
