There is no complete democracy or incomplete democracy?Like churchill said"It is the best among all the worst political system".In the recent history democratic institution hasn't always resulted in social justice and responsible leaders.Hitler was elected in 1933 in germany through democratic means. It has its flaws too.But what is important is will it be able to deliver the social justice and harmony among the majority who rule and minorities who exist.Democracy is best exercised when majority rules and the rights of the minorities are protected as well.In Nepal it has always been the opposite.Minorities are treated as if they were literally non-existant.And what do we get as a result a revolt in our backyards. My personal experience in Nepal and abroad has been this. With what I have experienced personally I always felt there was an urgent need of revolution against the higher-class elites of Nepal.I wish it was a non-violent one to establish a socialist model of democracy bringing all the corrupt elites and politicians to justice.Nepal is a country of peasants.Agriculture still is way of living for more than 70% Nepalese and what happens if you ignore them simply the world is heading towards post-modern time.Democracy sounds good to impress foreigners especially americans whose empirialistic vision is crumbling with the blood-shed for no other reason than greed. But to let those ordinary people who are still lagging behind giving them false hope instead of letting the democratic values penetrate in their hearts is hell of job.If you donot realize this sad reality of mud and soil where you were born and raised you will simply end up corrupting you mind, exercising nepotism, worshipping anything for power and going in jails finally continuing this vicious cycle.Democracy sounds good, complete democracy even better but to represent who you are suppose to represent( instead of coming to america and try to impress Jimmy Carter)thats a daunting task.
