I am not in denial about it. I am more aware of the problem than you will ever be. These are sensitive issues. We have certain negativities in our society. To correct these problems, the negativities have to be erased. Your naive and inexperienced approach is to to create more negativity to combat existing ones in the name of awareness. A few years ago when Hritik Roshan made some offensive comment, some people like you in the terai made some similar comments. "The pahadis are beating us up in Kathmandu". "Some madhesis were beaten up for walking here and doing this and not doing that . . .". same kind of statements you made earlier. So what happenned. The madhesis started stopping buses going to Kathmandu, pulling people out and beating them up. Some people like you also tried that in Kathmandu saying "some pahadis were beaten up my madhesis in Janakpur and Rajbiraj". So what happenned? Pahadis in Kathmandu beat up some poor madhesis. Problem solved. So your approach of making statements like - One non Kshetriya/non bahun went to a marriage ceremony of one of his friends, and the family didn't allow him to be there in the sacred ceremony - One non Kshetriya/non bahun went to a funeral ceremony of his friend, and the relatives asked him to not be there - One non Kshetriya/non bahun was beaten up for touching a K/B while they doing brata to increase awareness is a less than perfect method to say the least. Its downright destructive. Please reconsider your method to increase awareness. And remember, to be in denial means to be aware of something without having the strength to accept or acknowledge it. To be careful about something is to think twice about the repurcussions before making any statements.
